  • Úvod jednou větou: I'd like to talk about my town, which is smaller than it looks.
  • Obecné plus osobní: Many people commute. I cycle, because the centre is close.
  • Když slovo chybí, opis: the thing you use to open a tin.
  • Na obrázku: In the foreground, in the background, it looks as if.

Tip: katalog CERMAT chce souvislý projev, popis obrázku, porovnání a reakci na otázky. Ne seznam slov.

Kolokace

  • Make a decision, make friends, make the bed.
  • Do the washing-up, do a course, do someone a favour.
  • Take part in, take care of, take an exam.
  • Have a look, have a word with, have trouble with.

Tip: české „dělat“ se rozpadá. Do homework, make a mistake, take a photo, have a rest.
