Tip: said that, told me that. Tell potřebuje osobu, say ne.

Kdy čas neposouvat
- The teacher said that water boils at 100 degrees.
- She said she lives in Kolín, a pořád tam bydlí.
- Zájmena se mění podle smyslu: „my book“ → he said his book.
- Today → that day, tomorrow → the next day, yesterday → the day before. V testu to bude jen u jasných vět.
Tip: obecné pravdy a situace, které trvají, často zůstávají v přítomném čase.
