A repair café opened in a former bakery. Broken radios are mended there on Saturdays. The founder said that people would rather repair than buy if they were shown how. If the café closed, a lot of working parts would be thrown away.

Psaní

In at least 40 words, give one reason for repairing things and one objection. Use because and however.

Vzorová odpověď

Repairing things matters because a kettle can work for years after a small fix. However, some people do not have the tools or the time, so a café where volunteers help is a fair idea. I believe every town should have one quiet room for broken objects. It is slower than shopping, but it is kinder.
