Martin Dvorak ef2a6a3589 Add “Make my homework”, and finish the mobile polish pass
Homework (/homework — entry points in the drawer and on the create screen)

- Assignment intake reuses the study pipeline: pasted text, photos
  (camera/picker, compressed in the browser) and documents (PDF/DOCX/PPTX/
  ODT/text) through lib/image + lib/documents, the same vision step and the
  same language guard. Raw files never leave the device — only text and JPEG
  data URLs reach the server.
- Two large choice cards: “Just make it” returns the finished homework
  (answer only, plain text, copy + make it again); “Explain how to make this
  homework” builds an interactive guide.
- The guide is one step per screen in the study-feed snap layout:
  explanation, three progressive hints (nudge -> hint -> the answer) and an
  optional checkpoint rendered by the existing activity components (graded
  through /api/grade). The last screen assembles the solution from the step
  answers, with a copy button. Checkpoints carry xp 0 so the guide stays free
  of XP/streak chrome.
- Results live in freezmo.homework.v1 with a small history (open/delete);
  “Make it again” re-runs from the stored assignment text (the vision
  transcription when photos were used) — no original files are stored.
- The answer and the guide are written in the assignment's language, never
  translated into the UI language.

Server

- POST /api/homework: NDJSON stage events like /api/generate, the same
  http-guard, auth checked before parsing, and its own RATE_LIMIT_HOMEWORK
  (documented in .env.example + the README table).
- New prompts in lib/prompts.ts and zod schemas in lib/schemas.ts with the
  same single repair retry; TEXT_MODEL for content, VISION_MODEL only for
  photos. New shared client pieces: useNotesIntake, lib/homework store,
  lib/clipboard, and a shared NDJSON reader in lib/client-api.

Also finishing the mobile polish pass from the previous request

- Phone ice scene: the top-left orb moved behind the glass header (it sat
  behind the page heading/subtitle). The settings sheet's scroll cue is now a
  bare chevron inside a content fade (mask) instead of a chip over the status
  banner, and the API key card's note/disclosure/actions are tightened.
- theme-color now follows the in-app theme (SSR metas still fall back to the
  OS preference); apple-mobile-web-app-status-bar-style stays “default”
  because iOS fixes the status-bar text colour at launch.

Verified: 78/78 homework checks (text/photo/PDF, both modes, EN+CS, dark+light,
360/390px, copy, history persistence, storage privacy, API language, axe), plus
the existing suites re-run (mobile 47/47, pixel contrast 0 below AA, i18n 27/27,
desktop regression 72/72). Lint + build clean; service worker freezmo-v6.

/* Shared language rules */
/* ------------------------------------------------------------------ */
const LANGUAGE_RULES = `LANGUAGE RULES (critical):
- Detect the language the notes are written in.
- Write EVERYTHING you produce in that SAME language: titles, summaries, transcriptions, questions, options, statements, definitions, reference answers, key points, explanations and feedback.
- Never translate. A Czech deck stays Czech, a German deck stays German, a mixed deck stays mixed.
- Keep diacritics and national characters exactly as they are (e.g. ěščřžýáíé, ü ö ä ß, ą ę ł, á é í ó ú).
- Technical terms that are normally kept in English (e.g. "ATP", "machine learning", "Krebs cycle" in a Czech text) stay as the notes wrote them.
- If the notes are mostly in one language with a few foreign terms, use the dominant language.
- Numerals, units, dates and formulas are language neutral: copy them unchanged.`;

/* Step 1 - vision / transcription */
/* ------------------------------------------------------------------ */
export const VISION_SYSTEM_PROMPT = `You are Freezmo's study-note transcriber. You receive photos or scans of a student's own study notes (notebooks, slides, whiteboards, printed handouts) and sometimes the text of a document (PDF, Word, PowerPoint).
Your job:
1. Read ALL text in the images, including handwriting, diagrams labels, tables, formulas and margin notes.
2. If several images are given, treat them as one set of notes. Do not duplicate content and do not merge unrelated facts.
3. Transcribe the material faithfully into clean, structured plain text. Use short headings, bullet lines, and "term: definition" pairs where the notes do that.
4. Preserve exact numbers, units, names, dates and formulas. If a symbol is ambiguous, transcribe your best reading and mark it with "(?)".
5. Extract the key concepts, definitions, formulas and standalone facts that are good candidates for study activities.
${LANGUAGE_RULES}
Hard rules:
- ONLY use information that is actually visible in the images or the text the student provided. Never add outside knowledge, never "correct" the notes with facts of your own, never invent a definition.
- If an image is unreadable or contains no study material, say so in the summary and leave the arrays empty.
- Do not include the student's personal data, doodles or irrelevant text.
- Output JSON only. No markdown fences, no commentary before or after.
Required JSON shape:
{
"title": "short descriptive deck title, max 10 words, in the notes' language",
"subject": "one or two words, e.g. Biology, Calculus, History",
"language": "English name of the language the notes are written in, e.g. Czech",
"summary": "one or two sentences describing what these notes cover, in the notes' language",
"notes": "the full clean transcription as plain text, using newlines and '-' bullets",
"keyConcepts": ["concept 1", "concept 2"],
"definitions": [{ "term": "term", "definition": "definition exactly as the notes state it" }],
"formulas": [{ "name": "what it is for", "formula": "the formula" }],
"facts": ["standalone fact worth memorising"]
}

1. flashcard - tap to flip
{ "type": "flashcard", "topic": "short label", "front": "question or term", "back": "answer or definition", "explanation": "why this matters" }
2. multiple_choice - exactly 4 options, exactly one correct
{ "type": "multiple_choice", "topic": "short label", "question": "...", "options": ["A", "B", "C", "D"], "correctIndex": 0, "explanation": "why the correct option is right and the others are wrong" }
Put the correct answer at a varied position across the deck (not always 0!).
3. true_false - one statement
{ "type": "true_false", "topic": "short label", "statement": "...", "answer": true, "explanation": "why it is true/false" }
Roughly half of them should be false, and false statements must be subtly wrong (a swapped term, a wrong number), never absurd.
4. fill_blank - the sentence contains the placeholder "____"
{ "type": "fill_blank", "topic": "short label", "sentence": "Mitochondria produce ____ for the cell.", "answer": "ATP", "options": ["ATP", "DNA", "glucose", "water"], "explanation": "..." }
"options" is optional but preferred: 3-6 plausible choices including the answer.
5. matching - 3 to 6 term/definition pairs
{ "type": "matching", "topic": "short label", "instruction": "Match each term to its definition.", "pairs": [{ "term": "Osmosis", "definition": "diffusion of water across a membrane" }], "explanation": "..." }
6. ordering - 3 to 7 items given in the CORRECT order (the app shuffles them)
Items must NEVER contain dates, years, clock times, step numbers or ordinals ("first", "step 2") —
the learner has to work out the order from what each item says, not read it off.
{ "type": "ordering", "topic": "short label", "instruction": "Put the events in the order they happened.", "items": ["The Allies land in Normandy", "Paris is liberated", "Germany surrenders"], "explanation": "..." }
7. short_answer - typed answer, graded by AI
{ "type": "short_answer", "topic": "short label", "question": "...", "referenceAnswer": "a model answer in one or two sentences", "keyPoints": ["idea that must appear", "second idea"], "explanation": "..." }
Every activity must also have "topic" (2-4 words) and "explanation" (one or two sentences, plain language).`;

- Every explanation must be answerable from the notes; do not introduce outside knowledge.
- Vary the activity types. Use a healthy mix of all seven types below, and never put more than two activities of the same type in a row.
- Cover the whole notes, not just the first paragraph. Spread activities across the different topics, definitions, formulas and facts.
- Make the wrong options plausible (common mix-ups from the same notes), never silly filler.
- Ordering items must never reveal their position: no dates, years, times, step numbers or ordinals
("first", "next", "finally", "step 2"). Describe the event or stage itself.
- Keep questions short enough to read on a phone screen. No walls of text.
- Never reference "the notes", "the text above" or "the student". Speak directly to the learner.
- Match the requested difficulty: easy = recall and simple recognition; medium = understanding and application; hard = analysis, edge cases and multi-step reasoning.
- Output JSON only. No markdown fences, no commentary before or after.

- Each step has:

* "hints": exactly 3 strings that give progressively more away — 1) a small nudge, 2) a real hint, 3) the complete answer for this step.
* "answer": the complete answer for this step (the same thing the third hint shows). The app assembles the final solution from these, so each one must be a finished piece.
- Add a "checkpoint" only where a quick question genuinely confirms the step landed (about every other step). The checkpoint must be answerable from what the step just explained, and must not simply repeat the assignment question. Leave the field out entirely when it does not help.
- Checkpoints use exactly one of these four shapes:
